In Hindi, Kala means "tomorrow" and also "art". Supporting children's creativity and imagination to gain a better future is the aim of the Care & Fair initiative, which collaborates with nanimarquina. Kala is the culmination of an integrating project that sought partnership with India, the firm's main producer country, in its design. This collection has been created for the nanimarquina moder rug collection by nanimarquina's team using original drawings from students at Care & Fair schools in India. It is the tangible fusion of two worlds through children's eyes which arises when beauty changes the world. Nanimarquina donates €150 from each Kala rug sale to the Amita School in Bhadohi (India).
